Εργαστήρια Κόμικ και Zine

 

Τα εργαστήρια του προγράμματος Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) «Συμπυκνωμένη Δημιουργικότητα: Μονοσέλιδα Zines στη Χαρακτική» καθοδηγούν τους συμμετέχοντες στη δημιουργία μονοσέλιδων κόμικ-zines, συνδυάζοντας παραδοσιακές τεχνικές χαρακτικής με τη δύναμη της οπτικής αφήγησης των κόμικς. Οι φοιτητές θα εξερευνήσουν τις δυνατότητες του μονοσέλιδου ως αφηγηματικής και εικαστικής φόρμας.

 

Μέσα από πρακτικά εργαστήρια σε τεχνικές όπως ξυλογραφία, λινόλεουμ και οξυγραφία, οι συμμετέχοντες θα μάθουν να σχεδιάζουν, να εκτυπώνουν και να συναρμολογούν τα δικά τους zines. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση θα δοθεί στη συνύπαρξη σύνθεσης, υφής και αλληλουχίας εικόνων, ενθαρρύνοντας την πειραματική δημιουργία. Κάθε zine θα αντανακλά την προσωπική καλλιτεχνική ταυτότητα του δημιουργού, συνδυάζοντας την ελευθερία της έκφρασης με τη δεξιοτεχνία της χειροποίητης εκτύπωσης.

Παρουσίαση της ιστορικής εξέλιξης των zines και των κόμικς, βασικά εργαλεία, εκδοτικά παραδείγματα από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

 

Μάθημα προσχεδιασμού

Ανάπτυξη ιδεών, σεναρίων και δομής για τα zines των φοιτητών με βάση την προσωπική έκφραση.

Παρατηρήσεις:

 

Οι φοιτητές καλούνται να φέρουν προσωπικά υλικά σχεδίασης (π.χ. μολύβια, μαρκαδόρους, πινέλα).

 

Για τους συμμετέχοντες φοιτητές του BIP, παρέχονται Α3/Α4 χαρτιά, λινόλεουμ από το εργαστήριο χαρακτικής.

 

Το πρόγραμμα είναι κατάλληλο για αρχάριους και προχωρημένους φοιτητές.

Το BIP θα διεξαχθεί εξ ολόκληρο στην αγγλική γλώσσα.

Project Description for the Comic-Zine Workshop 

 

The workshops of the Blended Intensive Program «Compact Creativity: One-Page Zines in Printmaking» will guide participants through the creation of one-page comic-zines, combining traditional printmaking techniques with the narrative power of comics. Students will explore the unique potential of the single-page format as both a storytelling medium and an artistic canvas.

 

Through hands-on sessions in woodcut, linocut, and drypoint etching, participants will learn to design, print, and assemble their comic-zines. Emphasis will be placed on the synthesis of visual storytelling and printmaking artistry, encouraging students to experiment with composition, texture, and sequential art within the constraints of a single page. Each zine will reflect the participants’ personal vision, culminating in a printed work that embodies both creative freedom and technical mastery.

 

May 2-3 online/virtual meetings, preparation. During the sessions the topic of the BIP will be presented and discussed, the organisers (UOI and partners) will provide a quick task, literature lists, any screenings, that are important to see before the physical component of the project.

Notes

 

Participants must bring their own drawing materials. UoI will provide some materials – A3 & A4 paper, lino, wood and cardboard for international students from BIP project. 

 

The BIP is aimed at both beginner and advanced students of the School of Fine Arts at the University of Ioannina as well as from participating Institutions from the rest of EU.

 

“As in all student mobilities under Erasmus+, participation in this BIP programme requires that you hold a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

for the entire duration of your stay in Greece, ensuring access to medical treatment from healthcare providers that are part of the public system”.
