Painting studio – three dimensional representations with new technologies

The mission of the Laboratory is:

-the coverage at undergraduate and postgraduate level of the educational and research needs of the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences, School of Fine Arts of the University of Ioannina as well as other Departments of the University of Ioannina in matters that fall within the activities of the Laboratory. In particular, the research work of the Laboratory concerns the establishment of an interdisciplinary field aiming at the development of know-how for digital environments and potential spaces, 3D modelling, and also on issues of design and simulations of spaces and narrative scenarios for video games and other applications in the field of culture and cultural heritage.

-cooperation of any kind with academic institutions, research centers, in the field of visual arts, art sciences and research, the organization of scientific lectures, workshops, conferences, seminars, conferences and other visual and scientific events, as well as the participation in research projects.

The Laboratory is institutionalized according to Official Gazette 5121/30.09.2022 Issue B'.
